The ECO-IST: Ince Erasmus

Against the backdrop of biodiversity, joining Ince our enthusiastic guide for an immaculate display of what the Cape Floral Kingdom has to offer.  The ecological and scientific wonders of this incredible environment at the tip of the African continent is something not to be missed. This is followed by either traditional Cape Cuisine or a light picnic lunch to add to this unforgettable experience.

 

About Ince:

Ince obtained her B.Sc. degree in Nature Conservation, Botany and Geography at the University of Stellenbosch in 2000.   In 2001 she worked in London and travelled extensively throughout Europe. She established Eco-tourism Investments (Pty) Ltd trading as The Eco-ist in January 2002.

 

During 2002 she obtained her Western Cape Tourist Guide qualifications (WC 0171) and attended the Conference on Responsible Tourism in Destinations (21 ? 23 August) in Cape Town ? a parallel event to the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development.  She also became a member with SAACI (Southern African Association for the Conference Industry), The Botanical Society of South Africa, Cape Tourist Guides Association and Canal Walk Tourism Centre.

 

In 2003 she obtained her Road Transportation Permit for her luxury tourism vehicle and became a member with South Peninsula Tourism and WESSA (The Wildlife and Environmental Society of South Africa) 2003 and won ?Best Stand Award? whilst exhibiting at the Cape Tourism Showcase held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 15 - 17 August 2003.  In February 2004 her company The Eco-ist became a member of SATSA, the Southern Africa Tourism Services Association.
